Maintenance
and Repair Technician
Training
3-day course

The course instructs divers, tenders, and dive system technicians how to perform routine repair and maintenance of D-ONE helmet and associated equipment.

The course also teaches how to conduct helmet inspections, adjustments, and overhauls as well as face port insert testing and security, removal and repairing the side block and learn about the Drass set-up and maintenance Check Lists, and Operations and Maintenance Manuals.

It also teaches what repairs should only be performed by dealers or those with specialized training.

The course is developed to teach trained commercial diving personnel standardized inspection, set-up, and operation procedures for D-ONE Helmet. This course is not intended as a Repair/Technician Course.

The operator / user course instructs commercial divers, tenders, and supervisors how to perform routine daily pre-dive / post-dive procedures as well as corrective adjustments and to identify equipment deficiencies, which could hamper helmet performance and/or pose a potential hazard.

The course teaches the D-ONE monthly, and daily helmet pre/post dive maintenance, set-up adjustment, cleaning /sanitizing and inspection procedures for D-ONE Helmet and other specific associated equipment.

D-ONE Classes have a maximum of 8 students per class. If the class you select fills up, you can be placed on a waiting list. Registrations are processed on a first-come first-serve basis.
Class length depends on the number of students and material being covered.
Due to limited seats per class, register online at least two weeks before the class start to hold your space. To secure your enrolment you need to pay 30% of the total at registration, while the balance of your fees is due 7 days prior to course commencement.
Attendance:
100% attendance for the whole course is required to pass the class and receive certification.
Grading:
Pass or Fail.
Refund Policy:
Refunds will be issued only if the student cancels their registration no less than 7 days prior to the start of class.
